I am currently living on Long Island NY with my new fiance Michael and just obtained my LMSW (Licensed Masters of Social Welfare). As a social worker, and individual living with Celiac Diseases, I am determined to assist individuals living with restricted diets understand and take a hold of their conditions. I strive to help these individuals live their lives to the fullest, with an understanding that a restrictive diet doesn't have to restrict your entire life, through providing educational, empowerment, coaching, and advocacy services.
My hope is that my passion for social justice, advocacy, and education comes through in this blog and my servies, to create a unique support tool to help anyone else facing a gluten free life for whatever reason (Celiac Disease, Non-Celiac Disease Gluten Intolerance, Gluten Allergy or lifestyle choice). I want to make our lives fuller, and happier any way I can.I am happy to be a part of the gluten free community, and to be making a contribution to furthering understanding and support for gluten related illnesses.
I believe we can all make a difference by sharing our story and this is mine. I'll be sharing my insight on living a gluten free life in a busy gluten loving world as well as reviews of products, restaurants, books, articles, research papers and giveaways. I am living, loving and eating Gluten Free and I hope you'll follow along on the journey.
